odyssey marxman putter review

If you're looking to improve your putting, the odyssey marxman putter might be the answer. These putters are the newest addition to Odyssey's line of Exo Stroke Lab putters and include several new features that help golfers make more consistent putts.

White Hot Microhinge Face Insert

The Stroke Lab series has ten great head shapes, six mallets and four blades that are outfitted with Odyssey's newest White Hot Microhinge face insert for smooth roll and great feel. All the putters feature a mix of graphite and steel Stroke Lab shafts that are tip-heavy, said to improve the consistency of backswing time, face angle at impact, ball speed and ball direction, while also being slightly stiffer and lower torque compared to standard putter shafts.

Marxman Hi-Def Alignment

The Marxman puts come in three styles – the XG mallet, XG blade and XG mini – and all of them feature Odyssey's "White Hot" Microhinge face insert with dozens of microhinges embedded across the face that promote topspin for a smooth roll and accurate distance control. These putters offer perimeter weighting and offset shafts that are dependable and easy to line up once you get used to them.

Stroke Lab Shafts

The odyssey marxman puts feature a unique and innovative new method of weight distribution that is designed to change the physical dynamics of the stroke, made possible by a new shaft that saves 40 grams*. This weight is redistributed to the head in the form of sole weights and to the butt of the grip in an end weight, improving consistency in backswing length, face-angle at impact, ball speed and ball direction.
