The TX-SR353 serves as a 4K/60 Hz hub for all your connected devices including game consoles, STBs, BD players and more. The discrete analog amps deliver 140 W/Ch to drive your speakers with crisp, dynamic sound from Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio-encoded Blu-rays, AM/FM radio or MP3s played via USB. It features a comprehensive list of inputs, 5-way binding posts and Onkyo’s HCPS power supply for high-current, low distortion audio processing and a 2 year warranty.

Its back panel features an illustrated diagram of what connects where eliminating the guesswork for first-time buyers. It also provides a handy reference for experienced home theater enthusiasts.

While the TX-SR353 does not feature a phono input, vinyl fans can still enjoy their records by adding a phono preamp that matches the impedance and output level of their turntable cartridge. Once installed, the phono preamp’s output can be connected to the receiver’s CD or AUX input via RCA cables. Another option is to purchase a phono input board that can be easily attached to the existing RCA line-level inputs on the back of the receiver.
