Hello everyone, today I'm going to review ost c20 which is one of the best-selling vitamin c serums in Korea. It comes in a dark orange packaging with the serum inside. Its a small bottle that can easily fit in your palm and has the capacity of 30ml.
This vitamin c serum is highly effective at brightening and evening skin tone. It also helps fade acne scars/post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and removes blackheads. It helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles, boosts collagen production, improves hydration and evens out skin texture.
Unlike most other vitamin c products, this serum doesn't contain any fragrance or colourants, making it suitable for all skin types. It's not only good for fading discoloration but it also protects the skin from pollution, free radical damage and other environmental stressors.
The most important ingredient in this product is the 20% vitamin c (ascorbic acid). It's one of the highest concentrations you can find in any serum. This is what makes this product so powerful.
It also contains other ingredients like niacinamide, sodium lactate and hyaluronic acid to hydrate and brighten the skin. However, according to COSDNA the serum does contain alcohol (Ethanol). This is a major red flag for many people as it can be an irritant. Other than that the ingredients are safe to use. This is why I opted for the upgraded version of this serum called ost c21.5 which has less harmful ingredients but at a slightly higher price point.
