They combine Constriction with patented "separating ring" and canoe porting technology to shorten your shot string and improve your effective range. They also reduce recoil for faster, on target recovery if needed. They work great with any Lead, Copper and Lead combination or Hevi-Shot loads.
The 410ga Code Black XTRA-FULL has three consecutive rings combined with constriction inside to help slow the wad and keep it from interfering with your shot pattern. This allows the stud ring to work to its fullest potential and delivers a tighter, more dense pattern at longer ranges. It is not recommended for use with steel or slug ammunition.
All Code Black tubes are made from Carpenter Custom 630, aircraft quality, 17-4ph stainless steel and have a Non-Reflective Bronze Titanium coating. They are available in 2 3/4", 3" and 3 1/2" shells for all types of Lead, Steel and other non-toxic shot sizes. They are knurled on the end for easy hand tightening.
