Often, it is necessary to enlarge digital images. This can be due to the size of an image, printing requirements or simply because a photo is too small to see well. This is where software like photozoom pro 6 comes in handy. The program is able to enlarge images without reducing the quality too much. It is available both as a stand-alone program and as a plug-in for programs such as Photoshop, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Corel Paint Shop.

PhotoZoom Pro 6 is based on S-Spline Max, the latest generation of BenVista's patented and award-winning S-Spline interpolation technology. It has been further refined to offer better detection of subtle edges and fine details during enlargement, which results in lifelike, sharp and crisp photos. The program also includes a wide variety of image resizing methods to provide maximum flexibility.

The interface of photozoom pro 6 is designed to be as intuitive as possible. It is similar to the dialog box in most photo editing programs and anyone who has used this type of dialog before will feel right at home. The original image is shown on the left side of the dialog and on the right there is a preview of the resulting enlarged photo. It is easy to specify the new dimensions in either pixels or in a given print format.

The program is also able to handle multiple files in a batch and this can be useful for professional photographers who have to resize large amounts of images. It is also possible to create resize profiles which are compilations of your favorite settings and which can then be easily re-used.
