Romeo y Julieta 1875 bully review
The Romeo y Julieta line of cigars are produced in the Dominican Republic and are known for their medium-bodied blends made with quality long-filler tobaccos. They feature a Dominican binder and Indonesian wrapper to deliver a smooth, mellow smoke.
A good romeo y julieta 1875 bully starts with an aroma of cedar, honey sweetness, leather, slight mint, hay and earth with manure on the cold draw. The flavor profile is well balanced with flavors of cake batter sweetness, leather, hay and cedar that continue to evolve through the smoking experience.
This cigar has a medium-body with a smooth, mellow taste and a strong herbal quality that combines with aromatic cedar for a memorable experience! It is a very enjoyable, middle-of-the-road smoke that will put a smile on the face of nearly any enthusiast.
It is a very solidly built 5" x 50 cigar that features an attractive Indonesian Shade Grown TBN wrapper and lush tobacco leaves from the Dominican Republic. This vitola delivers a silky, luxurious smoke that will delight and titillate your senses for an hour or more!
The initial draw was tight with a mild tension. The pre-light draw delivered wood and white pepper notes, while a sweet natural tobacco note emerged in the mid-draw that became the primary flavor in the first third.
As the second third of the cigar progressed, the wood and sweet natural tobacco notes moved into the background while an asian pepper spice started to gain prominence. Meanwhile, grass and other grassy notes began to fade into the background.
