If you’re looking for a good, cheap double rifle case to carry your guns and gear to the range, I recommend this one from Savior Equipment. It’s modeled after a 12-racket tennis bag so it won’t attract too much attention to your gun, which could be useful for people living in apartments or those with nosy neighbors.
There’s plenty of room for two long guns up to 36-inches, a pair of pistols, ammo, and accessories. The inner compartment has a divider that’s thick and secure so you can’t accidentally slam your guns into each other. The outer pockets are big enough for a couple of 30-round mags and there’s even a wide spot on the back for MOLLE pouches if you need to carry more gear.
The case has a nice, rugged exterior that looks like it’s built to last. It’s made of heavy 600D nylon and has plenty of reinforcement stitching and velcro. There are also several pockets for storing other gear, and the case opens flat for easy access. One downside is that the zippers aren’t lockable, which is a little annoying if you need to keep your gun in the case for a long time while travelling. The case is also a bit small, so larger scopes won’t fit when mounted. I’m not sure whether it’s because of the material or the design, but I have noticed that this brand has a tendency to be less reliable than other brands when it comes to manufacturing quality and consistency.
