Seeing Who Saved Your Tiktok

Although TikTok does provide some useful metrics and insights for users, including the number of views, likes, comments, shares, and favorites a video receives, the app does not have a feature that discloses specific information about who specifically saved a user’s content. This privacy measure helps ensure that users’ videos are not downloaded without their consent and keeps the platform focused on video creation, sharing, and engagement.

When someone saves a video on TikTok, they add the clip to their private collection within the app. This is a convenient feature for users who want to keep a video on their devices and do not need to have the TikTok app open. Additionally, there are third-party apps that can be used to download TikTok videos, which are helpful for those who do not want to use the official TikTok app.

To see who has saved a video on your account, tap the inbox icon at the bottom of the TikTok app and then filter your activity to find the latest notifications you have received. This is a great way to stay up-to-date on who has favorited your videos and may help you identify core supporters. For creators, this feature allows them to connect with followers more effectively and create content that is more relevant to their interests.

Currently, TikTok does not provide its users with the name of other users who download their content. However, the app does keep track of in-app activities such as downloading videos and uses this data to improve personalized recommendations for each user. Users also will not receive a notification when another user screen records their video, but this feature could be added in the future.
