Sufix 832 Review
832 Advanced Superline is one of the thinnest, strongest, most abrasion resistant fishing line available. It is constructed with 8 fibers (7 HMPE fibers plus 1 GORE Performance Fiber) in a 32 weave per inch design to create the strongest, smallest, fastest-sinking and most abrasion resistant braided line on the market. Its consistent round shape also helps it shoot through rod guides with less vibration, increasing casting distance and accuracy.
The unique combination of Dyneema and GORE strands make it stronger than many other braids in its class and improves the lines sensitivity, knot strength, line and abrasion resistance, and castability. This is accomplished with a tighter weave pattern which Sufix calls R8 Precision Braiding Technology. 832 also has a higher tensile strength to diameter ratio than most other premium braids and is UV protected.
In addition to its impressive abrasion resistance and durability, it sinks quickly and provides a strong hook setting feel. It also works well on spinning reels, unlike some other premium braids which tend to kink when not in use.
The price tag for this premium line is somewhat higher than other brands but it offers several advantages over other lines including the high tensile strength to diameter, low stretch, and quiet, smooth casting. There are also six different colors to choose from which makes it easy to match the color of your environment whether you fish in clear blue saltwater, muddy freshwater, or a grassy lake.
