swiza watch review
Founded in 1904, Swiza is an old company with a new vision. While the company has a long history of producing table and alarm clocks, 2015 saw Swiza relaunch as a brand with modern watches for on-the-go lifestyles. Designed and made in the world famous Jura Mountains of northwest Switzerland, these new watches reflect classic Swiss engineering and artistry with a contemporary design.
The new collection features four different models. All are rugged, dependable, and fashion-forward. They're perfect for any journey from the office to base camp, or a soccer game to a night out on the town.
Designed and made to be the ultimate companion, these watches have a durable stainless steel case with sapphire coated mineral crystal. The watches are also water resistant up to 100 meters, and have a soft but strong silicone band that flexes with the wrist. The dials feature Super-LumiNova coating to ensure that the time is easy to read even in dim light.
Swiza is a family business, led by Peter Hug (formerly of Wenger), who oversees all operations and marketing with the goal of developing products that will help on-the-go people get things done. The company first turned heads with the launch of its redesigned Swiss Army knife, which has a unique safety lock that allows the user to activate the blade simply by pressing the Swiza cross. The company now offers a number of pocket knives with a variety of tools at reasonable prices.
