The game follows twelve players as they try to figure out who is the saboteur and stop them from winning the money. Players must work together to figure out who the saboteur is by analyzing everyone’s actions and voting patterns and then using deduction skills to uncover the culprit.

In this fun, social game players act as happy go lucky mining dwarves trying to dig their way to gold while one or more treacherous players act as Saboteurs who want to sabotage the dwarves’ efforts. Each turn you play a card which could be to add tunnels to your mine, hinder another player by playing an obstacle on them or even play a special ability which may alter the course of the game!
At the end of each round, a player who is Trapped! gets 0 Gold Pieces. A Gold Digger who completes a path card (with or without a blue door) receives the number of Gold Pieces on that card. The Saboteur can steal 1 Gold Piece from any other player who has > 0 Gold pieces.
The 3rd nominee can submit their one guess as to who the Saboteur is. If they are correct, their nomination is nullified and the saboteur is revealed.
