The propel batwing drone review

If you are a fan of Tim Burton's Batman movies or the animated series, this pocket-sized drone will let you live out your fantasies of flying like your favorite superhero. With a 720p HD camera and 3-speed settings, this drone can also record videos and snap pictures, and can even take off and land vertically. The only drawback is the lack of an app link to mobile devices.

The drone is easy to fly. Controlling it is all about small steady movements on the controller. A low push forward on the stick moves the craft ahead, back for rearward, and left or right to change direction. Too fast a push and your Batman drone will likely smash into whatever it is flying over.

While the drone is fun to play with, its build quality leaves a lot to be desired. The propellers break easily, even with the guards on them. It is loud too, so a midnight flight will not go without waking up the neighbors.

The drone comes with a protective case, and the controller comes in either Rebel Alliance white or Darth Vader's Imperial black. The controller takes a set of AA batteries, and they are not included in the box. If you are a fan of Star Wars, and can restrict your flights to an open field where crash-landings can be softened by grass, this is a fun, good-looking drone that will let you live out your fantasies for an hour or two.
