The thermopro tp-08 review is one of the top selling dual probe digital wireless thermometers on the market. It allows you to monitor the internal temperature of your meat and track the ambient temperature of your oven or smoker from up to 300 feet away. It also features a built in timer that can count up or down and store the settings when it is turned off.
The TP08’s wireless range is excellent and it can easily detect the signal from your transmitter even through multiple walls or obstacles in between. It has a large screen with proper back light and big digits making it easy to read in low or bright lighting conditions. The controls are well laid out with a clear interface but the one complaint is that some of the buttons have different meanings and it can be confusing at first.
This thermopro tp-08 review is comparable to the ThermoWorks Smoke which is one of the best premium thermometers on the market. It doesn’t have as fast of a read or as close of a calibration accuracy as the ThermoWorks model but it does come in at a more affordable price point. ThermoWorks has also been able to develop features like the shake-to-wake function and auto-rotating display which ThermoPro does not currently offer on their units.
The TP08 comes with two food and oven probes, transmitter and receiver, 4 AAA batteries and the owner’s manual. It is easy to set up and works right out of the box without any complicated synchronization process or software to install. It also has an indicator to tell you which of the two probes is plugged in which can be helpful since there are only two ports.
