The Toytec Boss 2.5 Front Aluma Series Coilovers are assembled and ready to bolt on. No spring compressor or special tools required for installation. The shock bodies are made from hard anodized aluminum for cooler operation and better protection from the elements. Internal hydraulic valving is optimized to match the 700 lb rate spring for use with or without a bumper or winch. The valving helps to prevent shock fading and cavitation while offering a smooth ride. TTLK254R includes sway bar relocation brackets, preload adjustment tool and owner's manual.

The ToyTec rear coilovers are also tuned to match load ranges; whether your truck is fully loaded with a bumper, winch and full armor or you are hauling a trailer and changing gear regularly. The system's ability to easily absorb and redirect the rear-end's dynamic weight to the front is a welcome attribute on uneven surfaces or out of nowhere ruts, holes or washouts. It takes some getting used to, but you learn to trust the components and let them do their job. Another major benefit is the virtual elimination of nosedive under braking; even serious panic stops.

A good suspension is best paired with proper wheel and tire geometry. Though work-arounds exist for retaining the factory stamped steel upper control arms (UCA), we recommend replacing them for optimum handling, tire wear and alignment. Toytec offers several different UCA options including the aforementioned Total Chaos Uniball and SPC adjustable versions that offer more lift height potential than the stock Toyota components.
