Transcend has a line of portable hard drives that boast rugged features, and the StoreJet 25M3 1TB is no exception. It’s drop tested to the MIL-STD-810F standard, and a rubberised anti-shock outer case and advance internal drive suspension help keep your data safe.

USB 3.0 port for faster transfer rates

The StoreJet 25M3 is a solid performer, topping out at 114 MB/s sequential read and 113 MB/s sequential write speeds using the synthetic benchmark Crystal Disk Mark. This is a good result for an external hard drive, especially since it is compatible with USB 3.0 which provides a 5Gbps transfer rate.

Shock resistant

The main selling point for the StoreJet 25M3 is its shock resistance, which has been proven to withstand drops from up to five feet onto concrete. It has been tested to the US military’s MIL-STD-810F standard, meaning that it can withstand a number of different drop tests.

One-touch backup button

This unique feature lets you back up your data to the StoreJet with a single touch of a button. Once the software is installed you just need to launch it and press the button - it will then back up all your files, folders and bookmarks from the PC you are connected to.

Elite Data Management suite

The Elite data management suite is bundled with the StoreJet 25M3 and includes a range of backup, restore, encryption and cloud functions. It also includes a range of tools to recover lost data. These include a recovery utility called RecoveRX and the StoreJet Toolbox, which is a low-level format utility that can safely wipe your drive.
