Varrstoen Review
Varrstoen was a company that started out mainly making cheap replica wheels that were just copies of other popular wheel designs. The whole idea was to sell these wheels at a very low price and capitalize on the wheel trends of the time.
They didn't seem to care about actually making a quality product and just seemed to be in it for the money. This is probably what led to them going out of business a few years ago.
The Varrstoen wheel line up was a huge mess of cheap replica wheels that were made out of cast aluminum and didn't really have anything unique or different to offer. In fact, they didn't even have any forged multi-piece wheels.
I would personally stay away from a set of Varrstoens. There are so many other good affordable wheel brands out there that are much better than these ones and that will give you much more value for your dollar.
I would also recommend checking out TSW wheels for a great alternative to Varrstoen. These are a decent wheel brand that will also fit your ride well and won't break the bank like a set of Varrstoens will do. You can get a set of TSW wheels for about half the price that you'd pay for a set of Varrstoens. They are also very light and are made with a flow forming technique that makes them extremely strong.
