Warriors of waterdeep is a welcome sight in the increasingly stale world of mobile RPGs. It's a decent strategic micro RPG that doesn't include any of the usual crap like gacha or autoplay, letting you think and plan your battles.
Developed by Ludia Inc, the game lets you collect and level up heroes to fight the enemies who dared attack your hometown. It also provides a large variety of games and activities that will ensure that you'll never get bored.
The game has three main modes - story, PvP and challenge dungeons. Each one takes you through a series of rooms that you have to clear while fighting monsters.
Sometimes you'll find a secret room that allows you to get a chest with rare or epic equipment. In addition, the game has a VIP subscription that costs $10 per month and gives you more free daily chests and better gem-to-gold exchange rate.
You'll be able to choose from four different classes when you create your character: cleric, mage, paladin and fighter. You'll also be able to customize your character with different abilities and equipment.
The game is very easy to play, as long as you don't mind grinding for hours. But it's definitely not the best SRPG in town. The premade characters, lack of replayability and the ever-present IAPs make it difficult to recommend. Even so, it's a fun game to try out for a while. Just don't expect a true D&D experience.
