In New York slang, TP stands for ‘Think Positive.’ This slang is often seen in posts or videos from users who discuss a breakup, failure, or other setbacks and are trying to encourage others to remain optimistic.
In teaching, TP is often used as a shorthand for “Teaching Point.” A TP is an important aspect of the lesson that needs to be imparted to the student or class.
