A group of ladies participate in a dungeon-themed bachelorette party for Cynthia that takes a turn for the crazy. The girls dredge up a long-lost friendship with Kenya and Marlo, break girl code, and get down to some serious business in the Dungeon.
Reborn as a Vending Machine is a light novel that follows an unnamed man who is crushed to death by a vending machine and then reincarnated into another world as a sentient vending machine. He discovers he contains options to upgrade himself from the points he receives when customers spend money on him, but also loses power every month without a customer. For example, you could give the PCs a limited amount of time (such as a few days) to complete a dungeon and retrieve some McGuffin of stupendous power before all hell breaks loose. This forces players to race through the dungeon as fast as possible and provides plenty of action and a sense of urgency to the adventure.
One of the best ways to make a dungeon interesting is to add some lore. For instance, why does the dungeon exist? Is it an intentional construct by a powerful lich or god? Or was it a natural feature of the world that was encased below ground when it was built, and now lives in a kind of cancerous existence? The answer to this question provides clues about the dangers and hazards that lurk within.
