This year, Carnival started rolling out an app called VeriFLY by Daon that allows guests to upload their proof of vaccination and testing in advance of boarding, resulting in a streamlined embarkation experience at the terminal. It uses facial recognition technology that links photos taken of you throughout your voyage to your profile, which can be accessed in the Carnival app or on-line following your cruise.
