Avengers: Endgame has smashed box office records and is one of the biggest films in history. It follows the aftermath of the genocidal maniac Thanos acquiring a magical gauntlet with unlimited powers and destroying half the galaxy with a snap of his fingers. It is now up to the original Avengers and a few newer friends to reclaim what was lost and reverse the destruction.
The movie is full of action and excitement. Jeremy Renner (Tag) and Chris Hemsworth (Cabin in the Woods) give outstanding performances as Hawkeye and Thor, respectively. Brie Larson (Annihilation) is just as good as she was in Captain Marvel, and Danai Gurira (Avengers: Infinity War) delivers yet again as Okoye. It also features some of the most beautiful visuals ever seen in a superhero film.
It is a must-own for fans of the MCU. It comes with a variety of bonus material that gives audiences hours of additional content. For instance, there is a tribute to the late Stan Lee. Additionally, there is a behind-the-scenes look at the evolution of Iron Man. This includes the story of how Robert Downey Jr. was cast as the iconic hero. Other bonuses include a look at Black Widow’s dramatic journey and her character’s development. There is also a focus on the Russo Brothers’ experience directing two epic battle scenes back-to-back.
The film was directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. Kevin Feige produced the film, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, and James Gunn serving as executive producers.
