About
Taylor is a fun-loving girl who seems to have it all: school, playtime, friends and even ballet and basketball. But there's one question that lingers in her mind: Where is my dad?
This is a thoughtful book for children who have been raised without their biological father or do not have any meaningful contact with him. It acknowledges that whilst the presence of strong positive male role models is important for a child's emotional health and development, this may not always be a realistic possibility due to a number of reasons including an absent father, deceased dad, FIFO dad, imprisoned dad or a same-sex parent situation. Ultimately, this is a book about loving and accepting who you are. It celebrates the strengths and attributes of primary carers whether they are female, single parents or same-sex parents.
