The new Pokemon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet bring a lot of new fire-types to the game, but there's one that can be difficult to track down. The feisty, fiery-haired Pokemon known as Charcadet is the pre-evolution of Armarouge and Ceruledge. While it can spawn in a wide range of areas, players will have to look hard and travel between regions to find the elusive Pokemon.
Often found in forest biomes, mountains, caves, and rocky areas, Charcadet is a small Pokemon with fiery red flames on its body that make it stand out in the wild. The Pokemon is capable of evolving into Armarouge or Ceruledge, depending on the version of the game, once players have obtained the item for the evolution.
To do so, players will need to obtain Malicious Armor from a man in Veta Village. This man can be found next to a fountain, east of Paldea. The item will turn Charcadet into Ceruledge, which wields a set of blades infused with ghost and fire energy that steal life energy from enemies during battle. To evolve the feisty warrior into Armarouge, players will need 10 Bronzor Fragments, which can be obtained by defeating or capturing the steel/psychic Pokemon that floats around Ruins in the game's various regions.
Despite its rarity, Charcadet can be quite useful during the early game for players to use in their quest to become champions. With a fire-type move that can easily blow away bug and grass Pokemon, the little fighter is an ideal choice for any team.
