When Winnie the Pooh entered the public domain in January 2022, it opened the door for filmmakers to reimagine the beloved characters in all sorts of new ways. One of those reimaginations was a horror film titled Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey, which caused quite a bit of buzz thanks to its twisted take on the characters.

The movie follows the story of how Pooh and Piglet transform into homicidal killing machines after Christopher Robin leaves for college. The film was directed by Rhys Frake-Waterfield and stars Craig David Dowsett as the titular character, Chris Cordell as Piglet, Nikolai Leon as Christopher Robin, Maria Taylor as Mary, Natasha Rose Mills as Alice, Danielle Ronald as Zoe, Amber Doig-Thorne as Lara, and more.

Winnie the Pooh Blood and Honey was shot on a $100,000 budget over 10 days in the Ashdown Forest of East Sussex, England. It marks the directorial debut of Frake-Waterfield and was produced by Jagged Edge Productions and ITN Studios.

If you’re interested in checking out this slasher flick, there are several places where you can watch it. You can stream it on Netflix, Amazon Prime, or 123Movies. You can also buy it on Blu-ray from Umbrella Entertainment (no relation to the evil zombie corporation from the Resident Evil series and movies). Regardless of where you choose to watch, make sure that you use a strong antivirus program and a firewall to protect your computer from viruses.
