Apple provides four sizes for its flagship smartphones: from the 5.4-inch iPhone 13 mini up to the 6.7-inch iPhone 13 Pro Max. Which size will work for you depends on how and why you will use your phone; in addition to screen size there may also be factors such as pocketability, comfort and battery life to take into consideration.
The iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max feature high-resolution OLED Super Retina XDR displays with enhanced whites and deeper blacks compared to previous models. Both displays boast a 2,000,000:1 contrast ratio and can support up to 1200 nits of peak brightness, providing enough brightness for vivid colors, HDR photos/videos/text. They also include True Tone technology which adapts the white balance to match ambient light conditions for even better viewing experiences.
As with previous iPhone models, Pro models feature glass front and back that sandwich a stainless steel frame. However, unlike their predecessors, these frames are matte this year instead of glossy to better complement the color of the glass on back. Both continue to feature the notch for TrueDepth camera, speakers and microphones but this year it is smaller so more display space can be seen through.
Both the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max come equipped with fast charging capabilities that allow them to restore up to 50 percent of their batteries in 30 minutes when used with an Apple power adapter, and feature wireless charging so you don't need cables for powering it up. They also support Bluetooth 5, Wi-Fi 6, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo QZSS BeiDou navigation services simultaneously as well as dual SIM support that lets two numbers exist simultaneously while NFC allows Apple Pay payments.
The iPhone 13 Pro boasts a 3,095mAh battery with the potential to withstand one day of heavy usage or two days with lighter use. Furthermore, the phone offers Wi-Fi, LTE and 5G connectivity - including an auto switch feature which automatically utilizes LTE when it is faster than Wi-Fi as well as setting that allows specific apps to switch over to 5G when necessary.
The iPhone 13 Pro is powered by a six-core A15 Bionic chip with five cores compared to four on its standard counterpart, providing better graphics performance thanks to a dedicated GPU. This phone features 12MP wide-angle and 8MP selfie cameras; support for live video streaming via YouTube; Face ID security system that uses facial recognition; as well as Portrait Mode photos with blur effect that capture 3D objects and depth information - plus support for live video streaming via YouTube and other services; it also comes equipped with support for face unlock and authentication during purchases made using Face ID security system. Pro models also boasts second camera used exclusively for Portrait Mode photos that capture 3D objects and depth information in real time!
