The Marvel Universe's Spider-Man has become one of the most iconic superheroes of all time. Created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, Spider-Man is a high school student with superhuman powers who uses his webbing to fight crime and other threats. Throughout his long career, Spider-Man has dealt with many problems that come with being a hero, such as financial struggles and romantic relationships. However, he has also had plenty of allies and enemies to keep him company. While the films have largely focused on Peter's relationship with Gwen Stacy, the comics series features his friendship with Mary Jane Watson and their eventual marriage.

Throughout the years, Spider-Man has battled an impressive array of villains, including the Green Goblin, the Scorpion, Electro, Sandman, Rhino, Shocker, Kingpin, and more. While he has defeated most of these foes, they all have something in common: they are resilient. They have all returned to face Spider-Man more than once. Likewise, the hero has fought off many personal demons, such as the death of his Uncle Ben and his grief over the loss of Gwen Stacy.

Spider-Man has been around for a while now, and with all the new movies, games, and comic book runs, some details can get lost in the shuffle. One of these overlooked facts is that Spider-Man's web fluid and shooters are all homemade by the hero himself. In fact, he was originally planning to sell the fluid as a sort of glue due to its adhesive properties.
