Why Do I Look Bad in White?

The color white can flatter a variety of skin tones, depending on the shade and undertone. If you're fair skinned with cool undertones (think celebs like Claire Danes, Jessica Alba and Kim Kardashian), try shades in the berry family like strawberry red, boysenberry or deep purple. Warmer versions of cool colors, such as olive, moss green and orchid, are also good choices. Avoid icy blues and jewel tones like amethyst or sapphire, which can wash out your complexion. Neutrals such as taupe, cappuccino, cream and mushroom gray look great on most people with neutral skin tones. Black can look too harsh on you and silver can make you look gray.
