Why Do My Balls Tingle When I Fall?

If you’re male and looking down from a high place, your testicles may feel light or tingle. It’s a normal reaction to the fight-or-flight response, which causes muscles in the spermatic cord contract to draw your testicles close to your body for protection, and smooth muscle in your scrotal sac tightens up the area, explains Ochsner Health. It’s also why you can sometimes feel your balls tingle when you’re riding your bike, since the pressure on your testicles can compress the nerve and cause a tingling sensation. It’s the same feeling you might have when you see a spider bite your hand.
