The Apple Watch is an excellent device with a lot of features like sleep tracking, a heart rate monitor, fall detection, and even the ability to contact emergency services. However, it can be frustrating when some of its features stop working properly. One such problem is when the swipe up feature stops working. Luckily, there are several troubleshooting steps that can help fix the problem.

The first thing to try is to restart your watch. Many users have reported that this simple trick has solved the issue for them. To restart your Apple Watch, press and hold the Digital Crown and side button simultaneously. Wait for the watch to restart and then check if the swipe up gesture is working again.

If the swipe up gesture is still not working, it may be time to unpair and re-pair your Apple Watch. This can often fix software problems and restore the device to its factory settings. To do this, open the Watch app on your iPhone and select your Apple Watch. Tap on the General tab and then tap Reset. Select Erase All Content and Settings and enter your passcode if prompted. Once the reset process is complete, pair your Apple Watch with your iPhone and check if the swipe up gesture is working.

In addition to these troubleshooting tips, it is also a good idea to keep your watch’s software up to date and avoid third-party apps that may interfere with the touchscreen. You should also avoid physical damage to the watch.
