After a rough start to its adaptation, world trigger anime has really come into its own in season 3. The action is excellent, with a great mix of tactics and teamwork. The fights are extremely unpredictable, adding a lot of tension to each battle. It also helps that the cast of characters have strong personalities that shine through the action.
The story is also good and does a nice job of creating its own world and setting. It does take a little while to get going but once it gets rolling you will be hooked and will have a hard time putting it down. The plot is different from other shonen but that's a good thing as it brings a new perspective to the genre.
This season of world trigger anime is much better than the first and manages to reclaim its position as one of the best shonen in recent years. The animation and art is great, which makes the battles even more enjoyable. It also improves on its pacing from the original season and has some good character development as well.
It does still suffer from some filler at times, but that is to be expected with any shounen. All in all this is a must-watch for any fan of the genre and definitely one of the best of the year.
